My trio of Wetlands card classes finished up early Saturday afternoon so before I started cleaning my stamp room I thought I'd challenge myself to whip up a few cards. 

For my first card I followed this sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches blog:  

 

And here is the card I created during my "play" time:

I had been looking for a way to pair the lava lamp from the Crazy Mixed Up Love stamp set with this pattern of designer paper from the Venetian Romance paper pack.  I added a little bit of Island Indigo Baker's Twine and a couple of vanilla candy dots to pull it all together.  I think my hubby will appreciate this card!
