Hello and welcome to my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology! Today I'm participating in a blog hop with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as part of our friend Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program. I knew I wanted to share a card using one of my favorite new stamp & punch bundles, the Posted For You Bundle, and then I saw the color challenge posted by the Global Design Project team and knew they would be perfect for my sweet & simple card.

These three colors: Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink, and Pool Party are so soft and pretty!

I embossed a smaller layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock with the leafy folder from the Greenery Embossing Folders twin pack. And I added an assortment of Elegant Faceted Gems to add more texture and visual interest.

I couldn't stop at just one card so I thought I'd change up the color combination and show you how the same card looks in Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, and Purple Posey. Which one do you like best?

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Maui Trip Achievers April 2020 Blog Hop! This month I was inspired to create a fun technique card with a sweet sentiment and decided to play along with the Global Design Project #GDP237 color challenge as well.

First I pulled out my Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, and Night of Navy ink pads and cardstock. Then I chose the Abstract Impressions stamp set and Springtime Impressions Dies because I love the beautiful sentiments and intricate die cuts.

I thought it would be fun to try a technique using sponge daubers. I even created a video tutorial which you can view here. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel and help me reach my goal of 1,000 subscribers!

I absolutely love the sentiment from the Abstract Impressions stamp set that says "If flowers were hugs, I'd send you a thousand." With everything that's going on in the world right now regarding the COVID-19 and social isolation I thought the words were fitting. I sure do miss hugs, and I have many friends and loved ones who I know would love to receive some too! In the meantime, I'll continue making beautiful cards and sending "paper hugs" to them.
