Stampin' Up! Trio of Evergreen Forest Embossed Metallic Trees Moose Card for the Stamper's Showcase October 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to the October 2020 Stamper's Showcase Blog Hop!  This month's theme is all about embossing techniques.
One of my favorite forms of embossing is dry embossing using Stampin’ Up!’s fantastic embossing folders.
The new Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog is amazing!  It’s easy to overlook in the catalog, but it makes such an impact on card.  I just love the way this trio of Metallic Cardstocks looks when embossed with the Evergreen Forest folder and used as the backdrop for our Moose punched from the woodgrain pattern of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper!  I thought the “Wildly Grateful” sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set was fitting and stamped it in Early Espresso ink.
Dimensions:
Shaded Spruce Card Base 5-1/2” x 11”
Early Espresso 3-3/4” x 5”
Trio of Brushed Metallics 1-1/2” x 3-1/2” (one of each metallic)
Whisper White 1-3/4” x 2-1/2” punch with Story Label Punch

Stampin' Up! Thank You Cards for Kylie's Demonstrator Support Program October 2020 Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology!  Today I'm participating in a blog hop with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the globe as part of our friend Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Support Program.  Our theme is "Thank You" cards, which we can never make too many of, right?!

I chose to use the ever popular Moose Punch and CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the sample card shown on page 27 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog and put my own twist on it.  I think it turned out super cute!

Here's a photo of what my desk looked like as I batch prepped 16 cards.
Measurements:
Soft Suede cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" for card base
Poinsettia DSP 2-3/4" x 3"
Crumb Cake Cardstock 2-3/4" x 3"
Early Espresso Cardstock for Moose 2" x 2-1/2"

To make 16 of these Moose Cards you'll need:
8 full sheets of Soft Suede cardstock
(1) 12"x12" sheet of DSP cut to 2-3/4" x 3" pieces
(2) 8-1/2" x 11" sheets of Crumb Cake Cardstock  cut to 2-3/4" x 3" pieces
(1) 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of Early Espresso Cardstock cut into 2" strips to punch Moose out of

I made a quick video (under 10 minutes) showing how I made these Moose cards with tips for batch prepping / making multiples that you can check out here.

I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology, and would like to invite you to visit the blogs of the other program participants below to see what fun projects they've created for you too!
