Stampin' Up! Sending Sunshine and Beautiful Moments for the Maui Trip Achievers Blog Hop
Welcome to the Maui Trip Achievers July 2020 Blog Hop! Thank you for visiting my blog, www.jessbcreativecardiology.com. I have combined the Beautiful Moments and Sending Sunshine stamp sets to create a "vision" of a woman looking off into the distant sunset. I'd say this is a pretty good illustration of myself longing for the trip to Maui I had earned through Stampin' Up! and was scheduled to take last week. The bouquet of lavender in her hands is fitting as the Ali'i Kula Lavendar Farm sits on the slopes of Haleakala National Park in Eastern Maui overlooking the island and sparkling waters below. My husband and I have visited their previously and I think it's the best smelling place on earth! Unfortunately the Maui Trip has been postponed but fortunately it has been rescheduled for next May. Let's hope this nasty pandemic ends and safe travel resumes again by then! And on the top of my "must do" list for when finally do get to go is to visit the lavender farm!
To create this card I stamped the images from the Sending Sunshine Stamp set on a circle of Whisper White cardstock die cut with the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies. I then adhered the stamped circle to a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the woman in lavendr image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Night of Navy ink and colored it with my Stampin' Blends Markers. Then I got a bit carried away and sponged the whole thing with Coastal Cabana ink. It's definitely a seaside card!
