Today I'm playing along with my friend Kylie's International Blog Highlight with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world.  Our theme again this month is "Encouragement."  I know so many people who would love to receive a card of encouragement - how about you?
 
 I just received my Everything is Rosy Product Medley and couldn't wait to dive in and start working with those beautiful designer papers with the rose gold foil elements!  And the sweet sentiments - especially the one that says "Time to Celebrate all the Lovely things in life starting with You" are perfect for sharing a note of encouragement with a friend!
 These papers are absolutely gorgeous so I created a Double Easel Card to really showcase the patterns.  This is one of those folding techniques that's actually much simpler than it looks!  It really only took me maybe 10 minutes to make this card.  I really should make a video to prove it to you!The foil element and flower accents are actually pre-die cut images that come with the Medley.
 Here's a side view so you can see why it's called a double easel card.
And of course, don't forget to stamp the inside of your card to match!  There's even a stamp that says "Dear Friend!"

Today I'm playing along with my friend Kylie's International Blog Highlight with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all around the world.  The theme she has chose for this month is "Sorry."  Honestly, I hate making cards for such occasions as they are filled with such difficult emotions.  On the other hand, there's a saying that a card is a hug with a fold in the middle, and can help comfort someone in a way we are not physically able to.

I chose this soft leafy pattern of Designer Series Paper from the Nature's Poem product suite and paired it with my favorite new stamp set for difficult occasions - Kindness & Compassion.  The sentiments in this stamp set make it a must-have for every crafter's collection!

Today I’m participating in a Blog Series organized by my friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Kylie Bertucci to showcase the amazing talent of demonstrators around the world.  

This month the theme is:  Travel. Many Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world will soon be sailing to Alaska for the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip.  I’m so excited to be one of them!  

This card is inspired by the parks and serene scenery we enjoy visiting here in upstate NY, but also that which we look forward to seeing on our trip to Alaska.  I truly do find my Peaceful Place in nature.

The sentiment stamped on the card perfectly sums up how appreciative I feel for my customers and Creative “Card”-iologist team members who helped me achieve my goal of earning the Stampin’ Up! Alaskan Cruise Incentive Trip.  Thank you all very very much!

I stamped my scenery image on a 3 x 3 3/4” piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock, colored it with my Stampin’ Blends Markers, then tote the right edge, distressed it with my fingernail, and inked the torn edge.  I did the same thing with the Mellow Moss layer.  I stamped the leaves on Very Vsnilla Cardstock, colored them with Stampin’ Blends and cut them out with my paper snips.  I added a little bow made from linen thread as the finishing touch.
