Stampin' Up! Creative Cardiology Team September 2021 Sale A Bration Finale Blog Hop
Welcome to our Creative Cardiology Team September 2021 Sale A Bration Finale Blog Hop! This month we're sharing projects featuring Stampin' Up!'s Sale A Bration items that are exclusively available for free with a $50+ Stampin' Up! purchase through September 30, 2021. I chose to use the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper and pair it with the Hand Penned stamp set & die Bundle in creating a fun fold card.
The Beautifully Penned DSP is pretty enough with its black & white patterns, but I think adding a touch of color really brings it up a notch! I used the small blossom and leaf stamps with Magenta Madness and Just Jade ink to stamp my own design on the polka dot print.
Then I stamped the large floral image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with my Magenta Madness & Just Jade Stampin' Blends Markers to match.
I even stamped a small blossom with leaves on the inside to keep it consistent, and the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon tied around the front flap makes the whole card look super fancy.
Stamping my own designs on the black & white patterns of the Beautifully Penned DSP was a lot of fun and I hope you'll give it a try too!
Measurements:
Card Base - Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11"; trim 2 3/4" off one end then score the remaining portion at 5 1/2"
Layer 1: Beautifully Penned DSP polka dot pattern 2 1/2" x 4"
Layer 2: Basic White cardstock 2 1/2" x 4"
Inside: Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
You'll also need a 2 1/2" x 4" piece of Basic White to stamp & die cut the large flower

Beautiful card Jess! Love the card fold and the coloring! The Magenta Madness and Just Jade with the black base is stunning!
