Stampin' Up! Oh Snap! Crocodile Card for the Creative Cardiology Team April 2021 Blog Hop

Welcome to our Creative Card-iology Team April 2021 Blog Hop!  This month we're sharing projects featuring January - June 2021 Mini Catalog and Annual Catalog carryover products.  I'm using the super cute Oh Snap! stamp set from page 47 of the Mini Catalog. I resisted for quite awhile but finally added it to my last order and I'm so glad I did!  The Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder makes the best lizard skin too - especially when it's sponged with a bit of Old Olive ink to highlight the embossed areas.
Though it may seem an unusual combination - the floral pattern of the Well Suited Designer Series Paper and Denim Ribbon add just the right touch of flair!  The sentiments in the stamp set are adorable, and I stamped them in Pacific Point ink to make them pop out a bit.  There isn't a die set for the Oh Snap! stamp set so I did fussy cut out the crocodile with my Paper Snips.

Stampin' Up! Tranquil Flamingo Sunset Card for the Maui Trip Achiever's April 2021 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Maui Trip Achievers April 2021 Blog Hop!  Thank you for visiting my blog  I made a fun flamingo sunset card for you today using the Friendly Flamingo & Tranquil Thoughts Bundles from the SU! January - June 2020 Mini Catalog along with the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper & Sequins which are soon retiring from the Annual Catalog.
Doesn't this card design transport you to a tropical location?  Perhaps a bit of a creative escape at least if you're currently unable to travel!
I sponged the Garden Green leaves with a bit of Garden Green ink to highlight the texture & give it more of a jungle feel.
Mango Melody cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"; score at 4-1/4" and fold to form card base.
Artistry Blooms DSP 4" x 5-1/4"
Garden Green cardstock 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"

Stampin' Up! Inspiring Iris Spring Cards for the Stamper's Showcase March 2021 Blog Hop

Welcome to the March 2021 Stamper's Showcase Blog Hop!  This month our theme is "Spring has sprung."  I pulled out the retiring Inspiring Iris stamp set to make these "Springy" floral cards.  Iris are among the first flowers to appear here in NY and I have several patches of pale purple ones around my yard.
There are actually several floral images in this two-step stamp set and the sentiments are really pretty so I made both a Rococo Rose and a Purple Posey variation.  The Butterfly Gems are the perfect embellishment for these cards!

Layer 1 - 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2 - 3 3/4" x 5"
