Stampin’ Up! Travel Layout for Scrapbooking Global July 2019 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global July 2019 Blog Hop!  We're a group of scrapbookers who use Stampin' Up! products to create our page layouts.
Our theme this month is "Travel" which is pretty fitting considering I've just recently returned from the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip Greek Isles Cruise.  I've only been home a few days so I haven't had a chance to get any of my thousands of photos developed yet, but I've at least got a start on my album with one page ready to go!

For the base of my page I chose a sheet of the "wave" pattern Designer Series Paper from the See a Silhouette pack.  I love the abstract watercolor look of this paper, and though it would coordinate well with my photos from Santorini, Greece of the whitewashed limestone villages against the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea.
I stamped the sailboat accent piece with stamps from the Lilypad Lake stamp set and the quote is from the Enjoy Life stamp set.  I liked the part about each day of life being a "precious privilege," and being able to see the amazing beauty of the Greek Isles first-hand was certainly a precious privilege I'll cherish forever.
I stamped the page banner with sentiments from the Lilypad Lake stamp set that say:  "To see far is one thing...Going there is another."  Seeing pictures someone else took of Greece is one thing,  but actually traveling there to see it for myself was quite another!  I accented the stamping with three blue rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones pack.  These have quickly become my new favorite embellishment!
I hope you've enjoyed my scrapbook page here at www.jessbcreativecardiology.com.  Please be sure to check out the fun travel pages of the other blog hop participants for additional scrapbooking inspiration!
