Rustic Harvest Scrapbook Page for the Creative Cardiology Team October 2022 Autumn Blog Hop

Welcome to our Creative Cardiology Team October 2022 Blog Hop!  This month we're sharing projects featuring an Autumn/Fall theme.  Autumn is probably my favorite season and the weather has been especially beautiful this year.  I've enjoyed some fun fall hikes with my family and taken lots of photos so I'm in desperate need of some scrapbook pages to preserve those memories!  Now I've at least got page 1 ready to add photos too!
I used Very Vanilla cardstock to create 6 photo mats sized at 3-1/2" x 4" - though I plan to use the 6th one in the lower right as a journaling box.  You could crop your photos to 3-1/4" x 3-3/4" if you'd like a border showing around them, or just remove the mats all together.
I used the Fond of Autumn Bundle to create a fun page element which doubles as my page header.
Here is a close up of the journaling box which I've decorated using the Rustic Harvest pumpkin and sunflowers.  I colored all the page elements using Stampin' Blends.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of the Earth Pretty Pumpkins Card for the Creative Cardiology Team October 2021 Autumn Blog Hop

Welcome to our Creative Cardiology Team October 2021 Autumn Blog Hop!  Autumn is probably my favorite season.  I love the comfortable temperatures, the beautiful colors, and the warm comfort foods.  And I love all the beautiful Autumn themed Designer Series Papers Stampin' Up! has available this year!
Since I seem to be on a Pumpkin themed kick this week I chose to use the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle again but this time instead of the Harvest Meadow DSP I paired it with the Beauty of the Earth DSP - both are gorgeous!
I centered the pumpkin trio on a stitched label from the Tasteful Labels Dies, popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and then added a little Wink of Stella to the pumpkins to give them a bit of sparkle.
I recently discovered that the Denim Ribbon is still currently available from SU! in the online store - even though it's not listed in the catalog.  Just like your favorite pair of jeans - this Denim Ribbon goes with everything and will soon be your go-to for accessorizing all your paper craft projects!
Measurements:
Pumpkin Pie cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"; score at 4 1/4" and fold
Layer 1:  Misty Moonlight cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2:  Beauty of the Earth DSP 3 3/4" x 5"
Layer 3:  Basic White cardstock die cut with Tasteful Labels Dies
Layer 4:  Basic White cardstock stamped with pumpkins and die cut with Detailed Pumpkins Dies

*Bonus Recipe*
If you watched my YouTube Tuesday video this week (you can see it here) then you'll know we talked a lot about our favorite pumpkin baked goods.  I said I'd share my favorite pumpkin cookie recipe - so here it is!  Enjoy!!

SOFT PUMPKIN DROPS (shared with me by my cousin Jolene from her friend Alyssa)
1 cup sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup shortening (crisco)
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 bag chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375 degrees.  Mix sugar, pumpkin and shortening.  Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.  Mix in chocolate chips.  Drop by rounded teaspoonful (or melon baller, lol) 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake until light brown ~ 8 to 10 minutes.  Cool.

Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Leaves Stained Glass Card for the Stampers Showcase October 2021 Autumn Blog Hop

Welcome to the October 2021 Stamper's Showcase Blog Hop!  This month we're sharing beautiful Autumn/Fall themed projects.  I love the Autumn season with all it's beautiful colors so I chose to create a simple card with a fun Stained Glass Technique to share with you.

The Stained Glass Technique involves using Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers to color on a piece of acetate/window sheet.  This colored window sheet is sandwiched between the layers of cardstock, and accentuated with a beautiful maple leaf die cut from the Intricate Leaves Dies.
This is the back side of the image - showing how I've used three shades of Stampin' Blends to color the window sheet.
The color on the window sheet looks just like stained glass behind the gold metallic maple leaf.
Measurements:
Thick Basic White 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"; score at 4 1/4" and fold
Early Espresso cardstock 3 3/4" x 5
Basic White cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
