So Very Grateful for The Paper Players Color Challenge

While my mom is visiting family in Florida I borrowed her new So Very Grateful stamp set.  I've already purchased so many sets from the Stampin' Up! Spring Occasions Catalog that I didn't think I needed this one.  But I've been using it a bunch this past week and might just have to keep it!

Inspired by The Paper Players Color Challenge...
I made this card:
My in-law's anniversary is next week and I thought it might be a nice card for them.

After I heat embossed the gold flowers I colored in the blooms with my Crisp Cantelope marker and added some tiny pearls for a bit of bling.

Stamps:  So Very Grateful, Best of Love / Well Scripted
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Crisp Cantelope, Midnight Muse
Ink:  Versamark, Crisp Cantelope
Accessories:  Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Pearls

A Little Preppy - Oh, Whale!

This year seems to be the year of babies!  I've been in need of making some baby cards lately and have been wanting to play around with the cute Oh, Wale stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog.  I saw the cutest preppy whale motifs on Pinterest and the fun Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge and was inspired to make these cards:

I used Pretty in Pink for the card base (so sad this color is retiring!) and Gumball Green for the whale cut out with the Oh, Wale sizzlit.  The little tag is a scrap of Comfort Cafe designer paper cut out with the Hearts a Flutter framelits.  I like these cards so much that I made a bunch of them for a workshop swap I'm doing later this month.  Since I couldn't decide which layout I liked best I made some of each!
