Artfully Composed Maui Scrapbook Layout for the Creative Cardiology Team May 2022 Scrapbooking Blog Hop

Welcome to our Creative Cardiology Team May 2022 Blog Hop!  Since May is National Scrapbooking Month we've decided to share our scrapbook pages with you!  This blog hop was a great motivation for me to actually print the photos from our trip to Maui for the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip last year and get started scrapbooking them.  The products in the Artfully Composed Suite coordinate perfectly with my tropical photos!

Here is the layout I've started to record the memories from the final evening of our trip - a beautiful sunset and luau by the beach.
I haven't decided exactly which page should come first so here is a photo of each page.  I designed the pages so that they could be arranged a variety of ways.  My method of scrapbooking is perhaps a bit different from others in that I actually prefer to design my page layouts first, and then decide which photos will go on each page.  That may sound a bit backwards, but it works for me in that I feel it helps me complete my pages faster and prevents my layouts from all looking the same.
I used a 12 x 12 sheet of Basic White cardstock for the base of each page, then cut the Artfully Composed tropical leave pattern DSP to 6 x 12, and 3 x 12.  The green stripe pattern DSP strips are each 3 x 12, and the Old Olive cardstock mats are 8-1/2 x 8-1/2.

Stampin' Up! All My Love for Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop January 2019

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global January 2019 Blog Hop!  We are a group of scrapbookers who use Stampin' Up! products to create our scrapbook pages.  This month the Blog Hop Theme is a Sketch.  We were challenged to create a layout using the sketch pictured below.
I chose to use the beautiful Stampin' Up! All My Love Designer Series Paper for my scrapbook page.  I tend to have a rather unusual approach to scrapbooking in that I often like to create my page layouts first, and then add my photos later.  I feel that this helps me to create a more diverse variety of pages and photo layouts.  For this particular layout I will add a 4x6 photo to the page center.
I love all the little details like the scalloped edges and stitching that using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits provide.  Two of the heart framelits coordinate to perfectly cut out some of the floral hearts directly from the Designer Series Paper.
This intricate floral diecut is also cut out using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits.  I added a pearl to the flower center and some epoxy heart stickers around the page to add just the right finishing touches.
I hope you enjoyed my scrapbook page here at www.jessbcreativecardiology.com!  Please be sure to check out the pages created by the other Blog Hop participants for plenty of additional scrapbook inspiration!

Scrapbooking Global August Blog Hop Stampin' Up! Whole Lot of Lovely Peaches Scrapbook Page

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global inaugural blog hop for August 2017! Our mission is to showcase Stampin' Up! products used in scrapbooking and memory keeping.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jessica Brigden, or may have come from the person previous to me in the list.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup of participants is listed below to help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.  At the moment you are visit Jessica Brigden of www.jessbcreativecardiology.com.

I'm born and raised in upstate NY.  And August in NY equals peach season.  My grandma made the best peach cobbler and, though she is no longer with us, her delicious recipe carries on.  In fact, I've included the recipe on my page for you to enjoy!  My Aunt is hosting a cardmaking class for me tomorrow and my mom is making a peach cobbler to bring for dessert. I can't wait to taste it and I'll be sure to snap a few pictures to add to my scrapbook page!

I used my current favorite Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, Whole Lot of Lovely, for this scrapbook page.  The water-colored peaches featured in this pattern are so vibrant that you can just imagine picking one off the page, taking a bite, and feel the juice run down your chin!  I fussy cut a few of the peaches with my paper snips and popped them up with dimensionals and added bows made with Bakers Twine to accessorize to the page.  Be sure to check back again soon to see the cards I've been making with it.

Thank you for taking part in our blog hop.  There are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss.  Remember that currently you are at my blog www.jessbcreativecardiology.com, so check the blog hop lineup list to see who is next.
