Stampin' Up! Fitting Florets Recessed Panel Card for the Creative Cardiology Team November 2022 Blog Hop

Welcome to our Creative Cardiology Team November 2022 Blog Hop!  This month we're sharing projects created with the new special release Fitting Florets Suite Collection.  The coordinating stamps, dies, and designer series paper are so beautiful and easily lend themselves to creating gorgeous cards!
I used two different patterns from the Fitting Florets DSP to create this fun Recessed Panel technique card.  The key tool is our Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer used to cut the top Basic White cardstock layer into three sections.  You discard the middle section, and then layer the remaining top and bottom over top of a layer of Fitting Florets DSP.
The floral elements in this paper pack are so pretty you won't mind fussy cutting a few of them!  The In Color Opal Rounds add the perfect sparkly accents!
Measurements:
Card Base - Balmy Blue 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Layer 1 - Polished Pink 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2 - Fitting Florets DSP 3 3/4" x 4"
Layer 3 - Basic White 3 3/4" x 5"

Video Tutorial

Directions:
- Cut each piece listed in the measurements above.
- Fold Balmy Ble cardstock in half to form card base.
- Adhere Polished Pink cardstock layer to the card front.
- Use Paper Trimmer to cut top section off Basic White cardstock panel at an angle.
- Use Paper Trimmer to cut another section from the top of the remaining Basic White lower panel at an angle.
- Adhere the top section of the Basic White cardstock panel to the Fitting Florets DSP layer; line the DSP up with the left edge of the Basic White cardstock; the adhere to the card front.
- Layer the bottom section of the Basic White cardstock panel over the Fitting Florets DSP and adhere to the card front.
- Stamp sentiment in Polished Pink ink onto the lower right of the Basic White panel.
- Fussy cut bouquet of flowers from Fitting Florets DSP; adhere Polished Pink Ribbon to the back and then adhere to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Sunkissed Tropical Hideaway Card for the Stampin' Up! Trip Achievers November 2022 Blog Hop

4:00 PM Jessica Brigden 3 Comments

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Trip Achiever's November 2022 Blog Hop!  Thank you for visiting my blog www.jessbcreativecardiology.com.  I just love all tropical / beach themed stamp sets so the Sunkissed stamp set in the Mini Catalog was an immediate favorite!  And even though our upcoming incentive trip is a Norwegian Cruise I can't help but feel tropical vibes anyways, lol.
I paired the Sunkissed stamp set with the Tropical Hideaway background stamp and used my Stamparatus to stamp the background onto Early Espresso cardstock with Early Espresso ink to create a subtle tone on tone effect.
I kept the color palette simple with Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Basic White.  The Deckled Rectangles dies add a fun jagged edge to the focal panel stamped with Palm Trees, and the Natural Finish Ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch!
Measurements:
Card Base - Crumb Cake 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Layer 1 - Early Espresso 4" x 5 1/4"
Ribbon - Natural Trim 6"
Layer 2 - Basic White 3" x 5" die cut with Deckled Edge Rectangles Dies

Fitting Florets Begin with a Dream Kindness Card for Kylie's Demo Training Program November 2022 Blog Hop

4:00 PM Jessica Brigden 4 Comments

Welcome to our Demonstrator Training Program November blog hop!  I've teamed up with my friend Kylie Bertucci and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all around the world to share beautiful projects expressing Thanks and Appreciation with you.
I paired the gorgeous new Framed Florets Bundle with the fun Begin with a Dream stamp set (available as a Stampin' Reward choice with an order/workshop of $150) to create this beautiful card.  I chose a simple color scheme - black & white with a pop of Polished Pink.  I love how the Polished Pink shows through the frame of hearts!
I stamped one medium and two small flowers onto Basic White cardstock and colored them in with Polished Pink Stampin' Blends, then die cut them and used Opal Rounds for the flower centers.
A bit of Black & White Gingham Ribbon added the perfect finishing touch!

Measurements:
Card Base - Thick Basic White 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"; score at 4 1/4" and fold
Layer 1 - Polished Pink cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2 - Basic Black cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"

Thank you so much for visiting my blog www.jessbcreativecardiology.com.  I hope you've enjoyed my Fitting Florets card and will continue to "hop on" and visit the blogs of the other training program participants - just click the links below!
