Kitchen Renovation and Season of Style Card Class

Hi all, just wanted to give you a peek into my life since my spree of card classes and craft shows last weekend.  I crammed all my events into one weekend because I knew we would be starting some renovations on our home with the hopes of getting everything completed in time for my next series of card classes in December.  Well, I guess I'm a bit overly optimistic because one thing leads to another and our renovation project has snowballed into a complete kitchen and living room overhaul!

This is what our kitchen and living room looked like pre- renovation:

We planned to replace the paneled walls and ceiling with sheet rock, remove the half wall to allow for a counter bar, update the cabinetry, and put in one consistent flooring throughout the two rooms.

What we ended up doing was a complete gut!

But what a difference taking that half wall out makes!  It already feels so much more open and spacious.  It's just going to take a lot longer to complete than we originally anticipated.

In the meantime, let me give a shout out for my upcoming Season of Style Card Classses.
