Hand Stamped Sentiments on a Snow Day

We weren't supposed to feel much of an impact for the big storm ravaging the East Coast - maybe 1"-2" starting late in the afternoon today.  Well, I guess this storm was pretty unpredictable because it started snowing here around 10am and hasn't stopped.  I was supposed to have a scrapbooking class this afternoon but my attendees decided they didn't want to be out driving around in that fine, misty, slimy snow so we cancelled.  Since I had planned to be home I went ahead and had a play day anyways.

I knew I needed to make a bunch of cards for an upcoming workshop swap.  My stamping group in Auburn always hosts a card swap along with their Stampin' Up! workshops.  The hostess gets to choose the theme.  This month's hostess is Steph and her theme is "milestones."  I was assigned the milestone of "New Home."  I searched Pinterest for a bit of inspiration and also decided to play along with Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.

Here is the challenge:

And here is the "New Home" swap card I created:
I tried my hand at a lil' bit of punch art using my Stampin' Up! punches.
Stamps:  Well Scripted (retired
Paper:  Whisper White, Smokey Slate, Midnight Muse, Rose Red, Comfort Cafe' DSP (retired)
Ink:  Midnight Muse
Accessories:  Triangle Punch, 1" Square Punch, Small Heart Punch, Doily, Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon (on the SU! clearance rack right now!)

I think a few of my "swappers" follow my blog - so if you're reading this be sure to leave me a comment and let me know if you like my card!
