Dreaming of a Flowering Desert for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology!  Today I'm participating in a Blog Hop with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world as part of my friend Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Group.  We've joined together to inspire you with our creative designs and I hope you enjoy them!
It's another cold and gloomy winter day here in upstate NY so I've been daydreaming of warm, sunny places.  I instantly fell in love with the new Flowering Desert stamp set when I saw it in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog and it was one of the first items I ordered.  I'm so excited to share the first card I've used it for with you today!

I knew I wanted to use fun, summery colors so I chose my absolute favorite Stampin' Up! color of all time - Coastal Cabana for my card base.  I paired it with the bright Granny Apple Green, and did a bit of simple stamping on Whisper White cardstock.  Did you notice the fabulous new Coastal Cabana & Granny Apple Green reversible ribbon on p.15?  It's a gorgeous satin ribbon & made the perfect finishing touch for my card.

Instructions & Measurements:
Coastal Cabana Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
Granny Apple Green Cardstock: 3 1/2 x 5 1/2
Whisper White Cardstock: 3 1/4 x 5 1/2
Stamp on Whisper White Cardstock, then adhere to Granny Apple Green Cardstock.  Cut a length of ribbon a bit wider than the stamped panel.  Adhere the ends of the ribbon to the back of the panel.  Adhere panel to card base.  Slip length of ribbon (approx. 4 inches) under the ribbon on the card front and tie in a knot.

I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology, and will continue to check out the amazing projects created by the other Blog Hop participants!
